Ms. Lawhead's 2nd Grade Class

Welcome to Mallard Creek STEM Academy! I graduated from Radford University with an undergraduate degree in interdisciplinary studies  and a masters degree in education with a special education focus. I am from Nothern Virginia, but I love living here in Charlotte.

I have three large, loving lap dogs Rocco, Junior, and Benji. I love to spend my time outside of school playing with my dogs, crafting, spending time with friends and cooking. I love coffee and sweet tea! 

 

This will be my fourth year teaching second grade and I am very excited to start the year! I would love and encourage families to be a part of our learning experience this year. Get ready for meaningful activities, experiences and fun!
